Editorial Policy
Sources
Every article lists its sources. Anything checkable — oven temperatures, doneness temperatures, ratios, timings, how long something keeps — is verified against those listed sources before the article is published.
How articles are made
Articles are written by the Cooking and Kitchen Editorial Team with AI assistance. There is no named individual author; the team stands behind the whole site. AI assistance does not replace the source check — the figures in a finished article have been checked against the sources underneath it.
Images
Pictures here are one of four things: original graphics we make ourselves, Creative Commons photographs with the required credit, screenshots of publicly available pages, or AI-generated illustrations, which carry a label saying so.
Corrections
Readers can point out mistakes in the comment form under any article. Comments are moderated before they appear. Where we confirm an error, we correct it and update the article. Reports about specific numbers and steps are the most useful kind, because they are the easiest to check against the sources.
